The Philippine Horticulture and Urban Agriculture Summit 2024 by the Department of Agriculture (DA), is designed to create a collaborative platform where ideas, innovations and sustainable practices can be shared to contribute to the growth of the country’s agriculture landscape.
With the theme, Pagsibol, the summit's highlights will include trade exhibits, symposium, and seminars for professionals, enthusiasts, and practitioners from diverse agriculture-related backgrounds.
Collaboratively spearheaded by the DA through Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Bureau of Plant and Industry (BPI), High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP), National Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP) with industry partner Bukid Amara and exclusive media partner Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation, “Pagsibol” is set to become a groundbreaking event aimed at bringing together key stakeholders, professionals, and enthusiasts in the field of horticulture and urban agriculture.
Event Venue
The summit aims to increase the collective understanding of its stakeholders, with the goal of improving the horticulture and urban agriculture industries in the country.
It also aspires to engage the ornamental and landscaping industry to contribute towards food security, explore innovative approaches for sustainable practices, serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, highlight the women's contributions to the Philippine agriculture industry, and integrate market trends in agri-entrepreneurship for accelerating the growth of the industry towards community development.
